My name is Amador Valenzuela, I’m a CG Artist/Designer from Chicago. Digital black book is my portfolio site.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL. Currently living in Riverside, IL
Graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art where I received a Bachelor degree in Media Arts and Animation.
I started my career at Dreamation Studios where I worked as a Multimedia Artist. 2 years later I landed a job at Somersault where I worked as a CG Artist/Designer. I spent the second half of 2008 as a full time freelance artist and worked with companies like 1st Ave Machine, Domani Studios and Digital Kitchen. In 2009 I took a full time position with Digital Kitchen as a CG Artist/Designer.
In 2010 I became the Director of Visual Development for the Material Group.

The graffiti definition of a BLACK BOOK is: An artist’s sketch book. Used for personal art development. Where artwork and ideas are kept and worked out. Also referred to as a “piece book” or a “writer’s bible”.
